About Us

There was a demand from the locality and also from the students section to open legal education in the rural area of Chakdaha, Nadia West Bengal. So a group of social workers formed a Trust in the name of JRS Educational Trust in memory of their late fathers Late Janendranath Pramanick, Late Ranajit Chatterjee and Late Sarat Ch. Pal (keeping the first letter of name of each person) respectively. They took the initiative an institution named as JRSET College of Law is housed. Accordingly an institution named as JRSET College was established on 15.03.2003. The college is managed and management of JRSET College of Law.
The College is established with a view to purpose of learning, research and dissemination of knowledge in legal education programme i.e. B.A. LL.B (H) course at present and also to develop professional skill and competence of persons intending to make up various Challenges modern day legal profession.
JRSET College of Law is open to persons of all religions either gender irrespective of their cast, creed, race and ethnicity. It is affiliated to the University of Kalyani and recognized by Bar Council of India (B.C.I). From the day of inception the college is trying to maintain for the society. JRSET College of Law is located ideally in a pollution also easily accessible from Palpara railway station (1.5km).
The college campus has a nice atmosphere conducive to serious studies, wholesome relaxation and all round development..
